If you're installing the new BDE Bullseye cam gears... make sure you read the instructions :P Do not align the OEM dimple on the cog to the timing back plate mark Align the Zero mark tooth with the white line to the back plate dimple. If you look at the notch where the cam pin aligns the gear, you'll see it aligns to the Zero mark on the new cam gear, and not the factory dimple: This is different from installing Nissan OEM cam gears and first gen BDE gears. Brett does include this instruction on the paper in the box.... of course we didn't read it... Maybe Brett you could put a sticker on the gear that says not to align the OEM dimple. No damage done, no interference found on crank rotation and the car wouldn't fire. Pulled timing belt and corrected.... all good now. We got lucky.
